The Society of Women Engineers Toronto aims to catalyze the creation of supportive communities where women engineers feel enabled, empowered, and inspired. From programming to communications, we are entirely volunteer-run and we would love to have you on the team.

Current open positions:

Newsletter Editor (Communications and Marketing Committee)
The newsletter editor will work closely with the communications team to ensure that SWE community gets the most value out of the newsletters we send them. These mass emails typically include topics such as:
●  Upcoming events
●  SWE updates
●  Interesting news, opportunities and resources
Formatting this content in a manner which looks appealing, easy legibility/navigation and organized.

Graphic Designer (Communications and Marketing Committee)
  • Detail oriented
  • Experienced with website design and editing updating the current website
  • Updating the website when needed, adding new pages/events and using your creativity to ensure designs look visually appealing.

General volunteer (University Outreach Committee)
Advertising SWE Toronto virtual events to students, attending university events (e.g. career fairs, diversity panels, etc.) to promote SWE Toronto, and hosting events at your local university with SWE Toronto. Volunteers will benefit from working with a team of experienced engineers at SWE Toronto, which can help build your network and help you gain experience.
