JOIN OUR TEAM

The Society of Women Engineers Toronto aims to catalyze the creation of supportive communities where women engineers feel enabled, empowered, and inspired. From programming to communications, we are entirely volunteer-run and we would love to have you on the team.

Our current openings include:

UNIVERSITY OUTREACH COMMITTEE

UNIVERSITY AMBASSADOR

Are you a recent alumni, undergraduate or graduate student at a Canadian university? We are looking for Ambassadors to join the University Outreach Committee and facilitate connections between their universities and the SWE Toronto Professional Affiliate. If you enjoy networking and communicating with others, and have knowledge on programs, societies, clubs, and initiatives in your university community, this role could be a great fit. Tasks will vary based on the ambassador’s ideas and connections, and may include advertising SWE Toronto virtual events to students, attending university events (e.g. career fairs, diversity panels, etc.) to promote SWE Toronto, and hosting events at your local university with SWE Toronto. University Ambassadors will benefit from working with a team of experienced engineers at SWE Toronto, which can help build your network and help you gain experience.

This volunteer position is approximately 1-2 hours per month, with the possibility of more hours if the volunteer has an interest in running events at their university. U of T positions have been filled.

APPLY NOW!

Apply for any of the positions above using the form below. If none of the available positions interest you, please fill out the form anyways and we will try our best to find a good fit!
